Based on an activation to thank the cast and crew of  Cirque du Soleil’s Kooza for visiting our City, produced by RISE UP Calgary and supported by Bird Creatives, a thank-you event was developed to surprise and delight our city’s guests that would leave a lasting impression. The event included an Indigenous welcome from a Treaty 7 elder, sourced/curated local gift bags that contained artist prints, apparel, and indigenous jewellery made by local artists, a performance by a local artist and group line dancing.
